Problems Purchasing at Skyline and SeaView Resort - written on the 27th May 2009 - 23:12 - Message #1

Hi All,

I need some help.

I started to purchase 2 Hotel Rooms at the Skyline Residence in NOVEMBER 2005 at a cost of approx £28,000 each.  I have already paid to MEDVIEW HOMES £22,000 for each Hotel Room, Total £44,000 plus the costs all the costs

As you all know the work on SKYLINE has been DELAYED for some time now.

Medview Homes have offered me the option of transferring the 2 Hotel Rooms for a top floor apartment, Onyx 3/1  at the Seaview Resort, in an UnFurnished condition.

I dont feel I am getting a very good deal and feel that my investment has suffered considerably as I have not recevied any return on my investment now for some 3 1/2 years.

I have emailed Martin Clitheroe and Ali Safa himself some time ago now but still with no response.

Is anyone else in the same postion as myself as I feel the exchange of 1 apartment for 2 Hotel Rooms is not enough as I feel considerably out of pocket.  ALSO, as you know the Seaview Resort was promised lots of amentities such as indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, hotel, etc etc but this has never happened.

What kind of feedback is anyone getting from MEDVIEW HOMES.  Does Ali Safa ever contact any of his buyers personally to help them as he hasnt replied to my emails.

 Hope to get some FEEDBACK.

 ADRIAN HIBBERT

Doesn't sound like a good deal to me either.  Medview promise lots of things when they are trying to sell to you.  Some of the people selling on their behalf leave a lot to be desired too.

"I have emailed Martin Clitheroe and Ali Safa himself some time ago now but still with no response."

That speaks reams in my opinion - you've spent a lot of money with them and they cannot take the time to respond to your communications.

Problems - written on the 1st Jun 2009 - 21:23 - Message #6

Hi everyone, I have a property at Seaview and am concerned that work has stopped at present. Another concern I have is that Martin at Medview has for the first time in two years  failed to reply to an e-mail I have sent and resent, (could be easily explained, he could be away) I  I am also concerned that recent posts and posters are sending a few private e-mails reference this subject, is there news that could be shared either privately or on this forum. Thanks

Gareth

Medview - written on the 2nd Jun 2009 - 17:49 - Message #7

Hello Gaz

I do know that Martin is away at the moment which could be why he is not replied to any emails over the last week.

Any before that has no excuse.

From what I have read somewhere, no further work is being carried out at either SeaView or Skyline until an upturn in the present financial climate.  I could be wrong, and often am, but I am sure I have seen that somewhere.

Nothings happening - written on the 3rd Jun 2009 - 19:16 - Message #8

I can confirm that we have been told, that everything is on hold at both Seaview & Skyline!

We have been told, that we have to wait for an upturn in the current financial climate, before any additional work takes place, despite most apartments in our block(Topaz) and surrounding blocks being sold!

It states on the sales website that this complex has been completed, as far as Im concerned its not completed, until we have both the indoor & outdoor pool, tennis courts, gymnasium etc.......

Lets hope!

Hi all,

It seems i'm not the only one who was foolish enough to buy here - have you guys had any other news.  I also invested back in may 2005 and have had no return whatsoever.

How many are there of us out there and how can we join together to protect our investment - please respond guys!!!

You need to consider the statement from Medview in their newsletter that they will not be issuing deeds at Hill Top or Sea view for many years as the land is part of a larger devlopment. They also published that no work will be carried out at Seaview due to the recession for some years ahead. You will not get your money back simply because they do not have any and although legally you may have a case, they will tie you up for years. Pay extra money or negotiate an apartment in Sunrise Beach Club where Medview have excellent apartments for sale, also Essentepe is completed. Ali Safa stated to me last week he is working flat out to get the title deeds at SBC issued as quickly as possible, so for those who can afford it, this offers a better solution in getting your holiday home with a clean title deed.

Hope ths helps. kind regards.

Michael
