Holidays - written on the 18th Jun 2009 - 14:18 - Message #1

Hello to all,I am new to the site and would like some info if I may.

We (Wife & I) would like to come to holiday late September (3weeks) with the chance to explore to maybe buying holiday/perminent home,I am wanting to stay in a small-ish family run hotel on half board basis,or apatment that is close to eating-out amenities, also need to be near to nice sand-duny beach (fussy thing me).First and foremost this is a holiday, as we have holidayed in Turkey for the last 16yrs but it is now so spoilt price-wise .

Any info would be most helpful.

Regards .Gordon Murr

Hello

We have a 3 bed villa with pool available from about the 2nd week of september at Hilltop, Safakoy, Iskele, Nr Bogaz.

There is a lovely little harbour nearby, beaches, restaurants, pubs, shops etc.  On the site there is a restaurant and bar.  Medview are the owners and have villas, apartments, penthouses for sale, and if any help, if you rent our villa I can arrange for a Representative to show you around ALL their sites, they have about 5 or 6 scattered around North Cyprus also Kyrenia, (Girne). Their office is on site and they are lovely people who are very helpful.

If you are interested I can send you photos.

I hope this helps.  You can email me on:   jaxgilbert@hotmail.com

Very best regards

Jackie

You could try staying on the Karpaz which the most likely area to satisfy the sand dune criteria it is a quiet area though - yu are lokig for hustle and bustle and will require you to hire a car for the duration of your holiday

This shows you accomodation - the same site suggest places to eat

http://www.karpazinfo.net/info_pages/karpaz_accom.html

The family run Bacli Plaj has it's own beach, restaurant. The food is pretty good too.

In Dipkarpaz - there are the archhouses but you have a drive to some lovely beaches - Golden beach certainly would fit the sand dune bill. There is accomodation to be found nearer but unless it is a complete chill out then it will not be for you - especially if you are property hunting. There are a few smaller property developments along the north coast roads.

Regards

The nearest hotel which has an offer is the Majectic.
